Gastritis F4
Gastritis F4: Gastritis with acid-reflux, stomach distension, vomiting or dry heaves , diarrhea, dysentery and pediatric digestive problems.

1. Digestive tract ulcers: In lab tests, F4 can protect the stomach wall against ulcers. In clinical reports, F4 has been used to treat the following digestive tract ailments: 1) Superficial gastritis: Of 81 patients taking F4, 11 were cured (13.58%), 30 significantly improved (37.03%), 34 improved (41.97%) and 6 (7.41%) did not improve after treatment. Another two reports on 83 patients taking F11 or its modification showed only 6 (7.23%) did not improve after treatment.   2) Atrophic gastritis: Three reports on 97 patients taking F4 or its modification showed only 8 (8.25%) did not improved, while the other 89 (91.75%) patients all improved or significantly improved after treatment.   3) Erosive gastritis: 38 patients were treated by F4 or its modification for a month: 28 were cured (73.68%), 7 improved (18.42%) and three (7.89%) did not improve after treatment.   4) Gallbladder juice realated gastritis: 90 patients were divided into a treatment group (n=48) taking F4 or its modification and a comparison group (n=42) taking regular medications for eight weeks.  Results: cured (no stomach ache or discomfort, weight increased more than 3 pounds, lab tests normal): 30 vs. 23 (62.5% vs. 54.8%), improved (less stomach ache and other symptoms, weight increased from 2 to 3 pounds, lab tests improved): 13 vs.10 (27.1% vs. 23.8%), no improvement: 5 vs. 9 (10.4% vs. 21.4%). The treatment group had better results than the comparison group, P<0.05. Another two reports of 68 patients reached similar results. Two further reports on 170 various digestive tract problems also showed similar positive effects.
2. Digestive tract hemorrhage: 39 patients were treated with F4 or its modification, and 38 patients were cured in an average of five days. Another 48 patients taking F4 and 31 reported their bleeding stopped in three days; 15 patients, in five days and the two patients, in 10 days.
3. Acute stomach pain: 77 patients were divided into a treatment group taking F4 (n=35) and a comparison group (n=42) taking regular medications for stomach ache. Total effective rate was: 80.00% versus 73.81%; the treatment group was better than the comparison group, but there is no significant difference. However, treatment group is much more cost-effective than the comparison group.
4. Incomplete pylorus obstruction: Of 41 confirmed patients taking F4 or its modifications, 26 (63.24%) significantly improved (symptoms gone in five dosages), 9 improved (21.95%) and rest 6 (14.66%) did not improve (two tumors and four severe obstructions later found).
