Herb RBC F2: Anemia with general weakness, post surgery, chronic unhealing wounds, CFS; also after chemo or radiation therapy.
1. Anemia: In lab test, F2 can significantly increase RBC counts in anemic animals, and it protects bone marrow and WBC from chemical damage. 30 gallbladder removal surgery patients took the F2 formula for three days after surgery. (There were 15 patients in the comparison group.) 18 days later, hemoglobin in the treatment group was 2.1 g/l higher than before surgery, while in the contrast group, it is 2.4g/l lower than before surgery, p<0.01. 80 patients took F2 for 10 days after surgery and their plasma A, A/G, HB, RBC and P/T were all significantly improved over the comparison group. The F2 formula also reduces the amount and duration of bleeding during surgery.
2. Cancer: The F2 formula can help cancer patients: 1) Reduce the side effects of chemo- and radiation therapy. 50 stomach, breast and large intestine cancer patients took regular medicines such as FT-207, 5-FU, UFT, MMC, CDDP or ADM and F2 together for four weeks. F2 can significantly improve patient's appetite, too. Another 30 uterus and ovary cancer patients took F2 and overall improvement rate above 80%. Liver cancer patients took CDDP and F2 together are much less prone to vomiting and nausea. A report from Japan put 100 digestive tract cancer patients in the treatment group and 61 in the comparison group. In eight weeks, treatment group was much better in appetite and dry skin problems. 24 late-stage liver cancer patients were divided into a treatment group (n=14) taking F2 and other herbal formulas while the comparison group (n=10) took no herbal formula at all. The overall improvement rate of appetite and general weakness in 2, 4, 8, 12 and 24 weeks are: 55% vs. 14%, 82% vs. 33%, 57% vs. 25%, 80% vs. 0% and 100% vs. 0% in 24 weeks. 2) Prolong life in the treatment group. The average survival time in the comparison group was only 3.9 months while the treatment group was 11.3 months in the case above. 3) Protect the body from various chemicals that cause cancer. At least 30 lab and clinical reports show the great effects of F2 to prevent, treat and prolong life in animals as well as human subjects. The materials are too many to be listed here.
3. Improved immune function: F2 can help chemo- or radiation therapy patients to maintain their immune systems at the proper level. 26 mouth cancer patients after chemo and radiation therapy were divided into a treatment group (n=16) and a comparison group (n=10). After three and six months of taking F2, the treatment groups' OKT3 and OKT4/OKT8 increased. Two other reports on stomach cancer patients reached similar conclusions. F2 also improves the effects of cancer medication. In 116 researched herbal formulas, F2 is the most potent for reducing side effects while strengthening the treatment effects of such cancer medicines as 5-FU, MMC, MTX, ARA-C and CDDP. In a test on lab mice, the treatment group taking F2 all survived (100%) while the comparison group all died (0%) after receiving CDDP IV injections for three days. In many lab tests, F2 significantly improved the immune system in tested animals. F2 at 1g/Kg/d in test animals with kidney infections demonstrates stronger effects than FCZ (Fluconazole) at 1mg/Kg/d. .
4. Chronic EB virus infection: Of 7 confirmed EB virus patients taking F2 at 7.5g/d for three months, 4 EBV patients results turned to negative (57.14%).
5. Meniere's syndrome: A clinical report on 27 patients taking F2 for four weeks found 23 were cured with no remission in six months (85.18%), 3 significantly improved (11.11%), and only one did not improve.
6. Chronic atrophic gastritis: Of 54 patients taking F2, only one did not improve. There are significant difference between the treatment and the comparison group, p<0.01. Another 15 patients with prolapsed stomachs took F2 and acupuncture treatment for 70 days; 4 were cured (26.67%), 10 improved (66.67%) and only one did not improve.
Toxicity and side effects: In lab animal tests, F2 is very safe for long-term usage. Its LD50 is more than 150g/Kg. Clinical applications also prove its safety, and no side effects of F2 have been reported.
