Pneumonia F3: Pneumonia with various internal infections.

1. Pneumonia: 137 pneumonia patients took F3 and over 77 percent resumed to normal temperature in 72 hours.

2. Severe acute bacillary dysentery: 54 severe acute bacillary dysentery patients took F3 and their temperatures resumed to normal in an average of 2.1 days vs. 3.6 days in the comparison group taking regular medicine. The mortality rate in the F3 group was 5.5 percent vs. 10.4 percent in the comparison group.

3. Acute bacillary liver abscess: 30 patients were treated with F3 and the mortality rate was 3.3 percent vs. 15 percent in the comparison group.

4. Bile-duct related septicemia: The mortality rate in the treatment group taking F3 and western medicine together was 16.2 percent vs. 38.8 percent in the comparison group using western medicine alone.

5. Bile-duct infection shock: Two reports showed the death rate of bile-duct infection shock in the F3 group is 15.7 percent vs. 85.7 percent in the western medicine group.

Toxicity and side effect: No toxicity on F3 has been reported. Patients after taking F3 may have more lose bowel movements, this is normal and should not last for more than a couple of days.
